ABOUT US
Lion's Lick Cat Boarding is a small, boutique style family owned and operated cat boarding facility. This is a cat only boarding kennel.
The business is owned and run by husband and wife team of Roland and Tammy. We are a cat mad family, with LOTS of cats of our own. We are passionate about cats and love to meet new ones.
We built our cattery from an old piggery shed on our property about 4 years ago. Roland painstaikinly built the cattery by himself whilst also working full time as a paramedic.
This has been a dream of ours since arriving in Australia from overseas in 2001. We currently have 9 bays available with a goal to reach maximum capacity of 14 bays by the end of 2023.
Our bays are built with the cats comfort in mind. We strive to provide each cat a luxurious home away from home. All bays have cooling and heating, to keep your cat comfortable year round.
SERVICES
We offer cat only boarding with all the luxuries of home. Our bays are fully contained, individual bedrooms with the following features:

All food is provided by us, they have access to Advance multicat dry food all through the day and night, and get a wet meal at night. However, if your cat is on a special diet, we are happy for you to provide your own food.
We are also happy to administer any medication/s that your cat might require.
We also offer fleaing and worming treatments for an additional cost.
PRICING

$20/night for the first cat

$10/night per additional cat that can stay in same bay as first cat

Please note: We have a minimum 2 night stay.
HOURS OF OPERATION
We are open all year round with drop off and pick up times preferably between 9am-5pm. However, we are very flexible and can work with you to accommodate earlier or later drop off and pick up times, upon request.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Does my cat have to be vaccinated?
Yes, by law we cannot accept cats that haven’t been vaccinated. This is to keep your cat and others in the cattery safe from illnesses.
Do you mingle the cats in a common area?
No, each cat has their own bay and private garden (on certain bays) unlike dogs, cats from different families do not get along.
Do you provide food?
Yes we provide a vet quality dry food and a wet meal at night.
Does my cat have to be desexed?
No, we are happy to accept non desexed cats, but a additional cleaning fee will apply for any spraying etc.
What are your fees?
We charge a flat rate of $20 per night year round for the first cat of the same family in a shared bay. And $10 per night per additional cat.
Is the cattery airconditioned?
Yes the cattery has both cooling and heating to keep your cat comfortable year round.
Is there anything I need to bring with my cat?
That is entirely up to you. If your cat has a favourite bed or blanket or even a toy, you are welcome to bring that with you. Also proof of vaccination is needed when you drop your cat off.
Can I inspect the cattery before booking?
Yes, you are more than welcome to tour the cattery before you make a booking with us.
What are your hours of operation?
We are very flexible on our drop off and pick up times. We prefer drop off/pick up between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Sunday, but are happy to accommodate earlier or later drop off/pick up if needed.
What if my cat is on medication?
We are happy to administer any medication your cat is taking. But it must be in the original packaging with clear instructions on it.
